    Funding & Fees

    We are committed to providing high-quality childcare that is flexible, transparent, and affordable for families. Our fees are carefully structured to reflect the exceptional standard of care, enriching learning opportunities, and nurturing environment we provide for every child.

    We accept government-funded childcare for eligible children from 9 months old, supporting families to access early education while helping to manage childcare costs. 

    An additional services fee applies to cover items such as freshly prepared meals, nutritious snacks, and specialist activity providers who enhance our curriculum and experiences for children.

    We want to ensure that families have access to trusted, up-to-date guidance on supporting their child’s early development so we direct parents to the Government’s Best Start in Life website which provides valuable information, advice and resources:

    In order to sustain our outstanding provision, we charge an additional services
    rate which includes services such as the provision of nutritional and balanced
    meals, digital access to your child’s online learning journal with real time updates,
    employing specialist external activity providers, and extra time within the session
    beyond the funded hours. All additional items will be itemised on your invoice.

    At Canopy Children’s nursery we also offer fully funded ‘Just 15’ and ‘Just 30’ Sessions that are stretched over 51 weeks, designed to provide high-quality care while making the most of your government-funded hours. There will be no administrative charges applied for funded only hours.  Meals and snacks can be provided at an additional charge.

    Just 15

    Session Time: 1.00pm to 6.30pm on Monday & Friday’s only
    Funding Breakdown: 15 hours per week (term-time) = 570 hours per year. When stretched over 51 weeks, this equates to 11.2 hours per week (approx. 2.25 hours per day).

    Just 30

    Session Time: 1.00pm to 5.30pm
    Funding Breakdown: 30 hours per week (term-time) = 1140 hours per year. When stretched over 51 weeks, this equates to 22.4 hours per week (approx. 4.5 hours per day).
