Sarah Charles – Founder & Visionary

The heart and soul of Canopy Nurseries, Sarah brings an unshakable belief in the power of early years education. Her journey started with a dream to create nurturing, nature-inspired settings where children and families feel a sense of belonging. Opening Times

Canopy Vine Lodge will be open for 51 weeks per year, closing for one week between Christmas and New Year.  Parents can choose from a flexible weekly schedule, with a variety of sessions to suit their needs.

Full days:        7.30am – 6.30pm

Mornings:       7.30am – 1pm

Afternoons:    1pm – 6.30pm

School Days:  8.30am – 3.30pm

Availability

Canopy Children’s Nurseries welcome babies and young children from birth until they start school. The nursery is organised into three distinct environments, thoughtfully designed to support age-appropriate development and learning.

The rooms at Canopy Vine Lodge are organised into three distinct environments, inspired by flourishing woodland flora native to the Uxbridge area:

The Nest: Babies from birth to 18 months old
Sunbeams: Babies from 18 months to 2 years old
Saplings: Toddlers 2 to 3 years old
The Glade: Children from 3 to 3.5 years old
The Forest: Children from 3.5 to 5 years
Tree Tops: Indoor adventure space

The Hive

Dining room and home economics:

The Sanctuary: A Sensory room providing a safe space for children to be calm, encourage communication and boost creativity through music and yoga sessions.

The Hub: A welcoming community space where parents and carers can socialise and enjoy educational and support sessions.

Canopy Café: One Friday per month Canopy will host a coffee morning to encourage families to meet and hopefully create lifelong friendships.

Gardening club: Sustainability is at our core, and we encourage children to plant, nurture and grow their ow fruits and vegetables; developing an understanding and respect for all living things.

Each room provides a nurturing and stimulating environment, tailored to the developmental needs of the children as they grow.

Canopy Code

Canopy Code is the curriculum we embrace in every canopy Nursery. Put simply, its the skills and behaviours we want children to learn to make them equipped and ready for their next steps. We want our children to be curious explorers, confident communicators, independent learners and inquisitive thinkers. With these skills firmly embedded, they will be fully equipped and ready for the next step into ‘big school’.

Canopy Cares sits alongside the Canopy Code to purposefully cultivate a culture of sustainability and appreciation for the living world. Quite simply, our ethos is caring for each other and the world we live in. We teach children tolerance, respect, and kindness along with a sense of understanding and responsibility for our beautiful planet.

Children are actively involved in caring for the environment and our nurseries have eco committees to help children think about their impact on the natural world.

Fees are fully inclusive of meals, drinks and snacks.

We ask parents to supply nappies and formula/breast milk only.

We’re here to support your child every step of the way, ensuring they feel secure and inspired in their early years.

Payments

Fees are payable monthly in advance. Customers will be required to set up a direct debit which will automatically collect their fees on the 1st of every month.

A deposit of £150 is payable to secure your child’s place which will be returned when they leave the nursery.
A non-refundable registration fee of £95 is payable when registering and reserving your place.

Canopy accepts childcare vouchers and tax free childcare payments.
